The November 2023 Farm Foundation® Forum, Innovation in Gene Editing and Plant Breeding: A Look at Scientific Advancement and Consumer Perspectives in Food and Agriculture, took place via Zoom on Tuesday, November 7, at 2 p.m. CT.
In this forum, we looked at the scientific advancements happening in plant breeding and gene editing in food and agriculture, as well as the impacts for agricultural productivity. Beyond the science, we heard updates on the regulatory environment as well as insights into consumer perceptions, preferences, and demand.
