Caroline Roeder Helle
Caroline Roeder Helle is a second year Applied Economics M.S. student in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Economics at Montana State University. She will defend her thesis in Spring 2025. Her research focuses on maximizing the economic and ecological sustainability of working lands (lands managed for ecosystem services and agriculture). Her thesis addresses the question: Does livestock grazing alter wildfire risk at a landscape level on United States Forest Service land, and how does livestock grazing influence implementation of alternative management strategies?
Caroline received her B.S. in Agricultural Business at Montana State University. She has held internships with AgWest Farm Credit, the Montana Supreme Court, and ranches in Montana and Wyoming.
