Elizabeth Crespi
Elizabeth Crespi is a Ph.D. student and Center for a Livable Future Lerner Fellow at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School for Public Health with a bachelor’s and master’s in public health from Johns Hopkins University.
Elizabeth is interested in understanding how to support farmers in adopting sustainable agricultural practices and the impacts of such programs for individual farmers and on the larger food system and public health. Using this research, she hopes to collaborate with key stakeholders to enact positive changes in these areas and address social, environmental, and economic issues in our food system.
Elizabeth has published 10 (three as first author) academic articles and contributed to 37 (10 as lead presenter) presentations at scientific meetings, and has extensive experience working directly with farms and other food-related organizations in her community to advance public health.
