Ashton Dalton

Presentation topic: “The influence of different cryoprotectants on mitochondrial function in vitrified bovine oocytes”

Ashton Dalton is a senior from Carencro, Louisiana, attending Louisiana State University. He is pursuing a dual degree in Animal Sciences and Religious Studies and divides his time among numerous on- and off-campus activities. His most prominent involvement includes serving as a College of Agriculture Ambassador, conducting undergraduate research, and volunteering with Hospice of Baton Rouge and BREC Farr Park Equestrian Center.

While his primary career goals are to attend medical school and become a pediatrician or family practitioner, he also aims to gain experience in the research, development, and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals.
