Amy Jancewicz

Amy Jancewicz is an emerging leader and strategist in the agricultural technology space, with a multidisciplinary background spanning the biosciences, data science, and humanities.
Raised in rural Southeastern Connecticut, Amy earned a B.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology, and B.A. in Sociology from the University of Connecticut, as well as a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
With over a decade of experience including research, business strategy, and intellectual property management, Amy has supported early-stage AgTech startups across the US and Canada.
In her previous roles, she has been a trusted advisor to C-suite leadership on key business decisions, secured grant funding, and managed strategic initiatives at organizations including Pluton Biosciences, Terramera, and Amebagone (now Agrafilms). Through her consultancy, LEO Agritech, she has also leveraged her expertise in grant funding, IP strategy, and market analysis to support numerous early-stage startups. As the President of CropVue Technologies, she drives global business development, operational excellence, and innovation in AgTech, with a vision to enhance sustainability and efficiency in agriculture to benefit growers and society.
Amy combines scientific rigor with a passion for uniting teams and simplifying complex data for informed decision-making. She is an advocate for sustainable innovation and believes in the power of diverse perspectives to drive meaningful change. Outside of work, Amy is actively involved in community service around sustainability, running, and spending time with her partner and their two preteen sons. Amy currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.
