Compensation Options for Conserving Agricultural Land

olicy makers, landowners and representatives of agricultural and conservation groups met in Sacramento, Calif., April 14-15, 2003, to discuss methods for compensating farmland owners for the public benefits of keeping land in agriculture.

Farm Foundation provided support to the conference, which was organized by the Agricultural Issues Center and the Department of Human and Community Development at the University of California-Davis.
