Employee Management for Production Agriculture
Farm Foundation partnered with Kansas State Research and Extension to conduct a series of conferences on employee management. This conference became one of the premier events for farm managers, helping them hone their employee management skills and maximize human resources in their operations. Proceedings of the 2003 conference are posted here.
A previous conference in August 2001 drew 160 participants from 18 states and a variety of production backgrounds. The 2000 conference explored how new animal production systems require employees with the ability to interact with technology. That event, which took place in Wichita, KS, attracted 129 participants from 13 states.
